Summer Student Jobs In Canada
SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Summer student will perform a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks including, but not limited to: equipment and shop maintenance, yard upkeep and supporting our Service and Maintenance Technicians.
Position Details
- Union – This is a temporary full time summer student position from May 5, 2025 – August 29, 2025.
Core Responsibilities
- Equipment and shop maintenance including:
- painting services
- cleaning and organizing facilities and stations
- Yard maintenance including:
- lawn mowing
- weed trimming
- hand digging
- raking
- Assisting operations staff with a variety of tasks as directed.
- General administrative duties including filing and working with spreadsheets.
Qualifications
- Enrolled as a post-secondary student on a full-time basis for the winter 2025 semester and returning in the fall of 2025.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license.
- Available from May 5, 2025, to August 29, 2025.
- Physically fit.
Additional Information
- Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters, may be required.
- The successful candidate will be subject to a background check that includes drug and alcohol testing.
- The student must be prepared to work outdoors.
