Responsibilities

As a Greenhouse Worker at De Herdt Gardens Ltd, your key duties include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining greenhouse facilities.
  • Harvesting seedlings and transplanting rooted cuttings.
  • Mixing and preparing soils for planting.
  • Planting bulbs, seeds, and various greenhouse crops.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Experience not required — on-the-job training provided.
  • Must be able to handle up to 45 kg (100 lbs) when lifting or moving items.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in greenhouse conditions, including hot, cold, or damp environments.
  • Must be available for 40 hours per week during the seasonal employment period.
