Irfan Bahadur Assumes Additional Charge of SSPCTD Intelligence Wing

Irfan Bahadur, currently serving as SSP CTD Operations, has been assigned the additional responsibility of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Intelligence.

This development comes after Raja Umar Khattab, the previous holder of the position, was removed from his post. Khattab’s removal is linked to an inquiry into an incident involving the kidnapping and theft of digital currency by a CTD official.

The incident, which occurred at CTD Civil Lines, resulted in the arrest of seven accused individuals, including the official responsible. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.

According to sources, the inquiry report led to the removal of two officers: Raja Umar Khattab, in-charge of CTD Civil Lines, and DSP Raja Farrukh Younis, who was posted in CPEC.
