Full Job Description of Receptionist
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, data entry, and basic bookkeeping tasks using a variety of accounting software tools.
Receptionist be responsible for:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
 - Process invoices, accounts receivable/payable, and bank reconciliations
 - Assist with payroll entries and financial reports
 - Utilize accounting software including QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, and MS Excel
 - Support the finance team with general administrative duties
 - Maintain electronic and paper filing systems
 - Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
 
What are we looking for Receptionist:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
 - Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
 - Prior accounting experience is an asset, but not mandatory
 - Training will be provided for suitable candidates
 
Skills and Knowledge Desired:
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
 - Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, and other accounting software
 - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
