Full Job Description of Order Picker
As an Order Picker, your primary role will be to accurately select and prepare items for customer or company orders in a warehouse or distribution facility. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to meet daily operational demands.
Order Picker will be responsible for:
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment or internal use
- Handle items carefully, ensuring correct labeling and packaging
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and packing areas
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy goals
What are we looking for Order Picker:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Secondary graduation certificate)
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or related field
Skills and Knowledge Desired:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage
- Physically capable of standing, lifting, and walking for extended periods
