About the Role
As a Machine Operator – Frozen Food at GMG Dubai, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating advanced food processing machinery. Your daily tasks will ensure consistent product quality and production efficiency while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.
The role involves preparing machines for production cycles, monitoring operations, troubleshooting minor mechanical issues, and collaborating with your team to achieve productivity goals. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and calibrate machines before production begins.
- Clean and sanitize machinery to meet hygiene standards.
- Verify machine safety features before and during operation.
- Operate machinery according to written and verbal production instructions.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure efficient performance.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain quality output.
- Measure and test parts using precision tools to verify specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.
- Maintain records of production data, machine logs, and product quality checks.
- Manage approved and defective units according to company standards.

Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or technical qualification (ITI certification preferred).
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience as a machine operator in the frozen food industry.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with food hygiene and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Physical Ability: Capable of working on factory floors, handling light machinery, and following strict safety standards.
- Language: Basic communication skills in English.
