Job Description: Excavator Operator
We are seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join our team. You must have the necessary qualifications and a positive, can-do attitude.
Your qualifications may include:
- Current Driver’s Licence, relevant Machinery Class Operation Licence, and Construction Induction Safety card.
- Independent transport.
- Personal hand tools and battery kit.
- Ability to follow instructions and deliver high-quality service.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Can-Do attitude towards life and work.
General Duties Include:
- Studying drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Operating plants such as excavators, dozers, dump trucks, rollers, compactors, graders, loaders, or other heavy machinery.
- Operating plants to excavate, break, drill, compact, level, move, load, spread rocks, soil, debris, rubble, and other materials according to plans, markers, and directions.
- Monitoring plant machinery and assisting with routine maintenance as required.
- General site tidying.
- Performing any other tasks as reasonably required.
- Complying with all aspects of any contract, project, or task and delivering customer services that meet or exceed the expectations of the customer or business.
