Delivery Driver Full Job Description

• Safely operate the company vehicle to deliver and pick up at the designated location within the specified timeframe.
• Load and unload packages onto the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and security of all items.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records, including proof of delivery and any discrepancies encountered using a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, pedestrians, and other drivers on the road.
• Stick to company standards and regulations without taking any shortcuts, ensuring that all deliveries are conducted with integrity and professionalism.
• Fully comply with all legal and regulatory requirements related to transportation and delivery operations.
• Collaborate with team members and management to continuously improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Secondary or High School Certificate.
• Valid full driver’s licences, including Dangerous Goods Licence or ability to gain full driver’s licence, including DG Licence.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry packages weighing up to 30 kg.
