- Set up equipment for safe operations
- Guide chickens into loading area in humane manner
- Loading of poultry into holding crates on to transport truck
- Work as a team to handle chickens without startling or angering birds
- Manual collection of chickens
- Catching chickens using appropriate techniques to minimize stress and ensure welfare.
- Handling chickens gently and securely, ensuring they are not injured or stressed.
- Following company rules and procedures for catching and handling chickens.
- Helping to prepare chickens for transport, including loading them into crates or vehicles.
- Ensuring chickens are loaded correctly and safely, preventing injuries or escapes.
