Moreover Georgiou Group has partnered with ACCIONA Construction Australia in a joint venture to deliver a new train station located in Hope Island on the Gold Coast. Moreover The Hope Island Station will form part of the Cross River Rail New Gold Coast Stations program. The project will involve construction of a new station structure, car park, intersection upgrades and associated services.

About The Role:
Based at our site offices in Coomera and reporting to the Project Engineer, the Site Engineer will assist with the coordination and management of technical issues, planning, resourcing, survey, procurement, and quality control for an assigned area. Additionally, the Site Engineer will:
- Assist in maintaining the project’s schedule/programMoreover Assist in maintaining the project’s schedule/program
- Assist with the planned use of materials, resources and systems
- Undertake, monitor, and report project tasks to deliver profit and effective cost control
- Provide daily support and technical input to achieve contract obligations and tender specifications while ensuring that processes are implemented to identify, control, mitigate and report significant risks and opportunities.
- Moreover Ensure works are compliant with the project’s environmental requirements
- Moreover Planning the works to comply with the project’s local community requirements and restrictions
What You’re Good At:
- Aside from having relevant tertiary qualifications, you will ideally have 2-3 years’ experience in a construction or engineering environment, in addition to some knowledge in at least one of the following areas: major civil infrastructure projects, structural concrete, large buildings and commercial experience.
- To thrive in our team environment, you should be a confident communicator in administering contracts, collaborating with diverse teams/contractors, and be driven in your approach to delivering high-quality project sections/tasks on time, on budget, safely and to high standards.
- Moreover Experience in coordinating and/or running toolbox meetings, pre-start meetings, site inductions and a demonstrated commitment to HSEQ practices.
