Qualifications
- Experience in metal fabrication, workshop environment, and tool handling
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a fabrication setting
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials
- High attention to detail and quality control
- Forklift license and experience with various metalworking machinery are a plus
- Previous experience in a similar trade or construction-related role is advantageous
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Malaga, WA. The Trade Assistant will be responsible for supporting the tradespeople in the workshop, preparing materials, maintaining tools and equipment, assisting in the fabrication process, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Additional duties may include performing quality checks, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with installations as needed.
